Caritas Tromsø and Svalbard activities are based on volunteering.

To volunteer at Caritas Tromsø and Svalbard, we look for commitment and a willingness to help others. If you are fluent in several languages, this is a great advantage, and we strive to have volunteers who have professional knowledge in health, education, law or ICT. But this is not a requirement for becoming a volunteer, the most important thing is that you have the ability to be generous and empathic towards others.

We can offer internship.

Are you without a work experience? Are you new in Norway? Are you looking for a job? While you prepare for the next step in your life, can you think of using your time more efficiently? More people have the opportunity to build a network and get a job through volunteer work. It is better to have volunteered during that period than to have a gap in your CV. Volunteering is highly valued in Norwegian society. You will also receive a certificate confirming that you have contributed to the society as a volunteer.
